Berrien House Dentil Border

American, circa 1805-1815

This pattern is licensed to Adelphi Paper Hangings by Andrew Berrien Jones, The John Berrien House, Savannah, Georgia.


This border was used to trim two very different patterns at the Berrien House in Savannah, Georgia: one was a simple pin-dotted foliate; the other was the Berrien House Ribbon Trellis. Though relatively narrow, the deep dental relief gives it a substantial presence.

Imperial Measurements: Repeat ⅝ inches, , width 2 ½ inches.

Metric Measurements: 1.5 cm, 6.3 cm.



Samples are available for all Adelphi Paper Hangings patterns. Standard pattern samples are 12 inches by 23 inches and are available for $15. for each pattern. Small samples, business envelope size, are available on request, at no charge (limited to 10 per customer).
